May Day! May Day!

Happy May Day!

Not in a, "I'm going to put a black mask on and go throw rocks," May Day. More of a, "Happy May Day, here's a basket of candy!"

I have really fond memories of May Day when living in Nebraska. I had the best babysitter in the world, and she would always make us little May Day treats. So, obviously the only thing I associate with May Day is candy.

It's too bad that the protests in Seattle today turned real ugly. Thankfully the protests in Portland stayed relatively peaceful. It's sad when your methods are louder than your message.

Anyway. Like the blog redesign? I went really quickly from a nautical theme to a straight up western theme.
